This project for my final semester in Billy Blue College of Design consisted of three components: a business card, a leave behind and a portfolio booklet.
Starting with the business card, I wanted to create a compact and memorable item that will stand out in the crowd. I chose a square-shaped card that folds out to a standard card size thanks to an eyelet that functions as a hinge. The card is incomplete and will only reveal my full information once the user interacts with it.
The leave behind is encased in a polypropylene case with a see through cover designed to tease the user. Inside are three cards with a pull out tab, that unfolds into a two-sided pamphlet. The first card contains my CV while the other 2 could be any project I chose to present that would be relevant to the employer.
The portfolio booklet a custom made folder, housing 6 mini booklets which are bound by an elastic string. The idea is to have the content interchangeable so it can be easily updated and re-used. The jacket of the folder contains my full CV which can be read if the booklet is held open sideways. Each booklet is roughly an A6 size that unfolds into an A3 sized poster.
